COVISE CFD - List of currently available Readers
(Fluid Dynamics)

COVISE CFD allows you straightforward and easy reading of output data in the formats used in the area of Fluid Dynamics. COVISE CFD is delivered with the following modules:

ReadCFX
reads CFX-5 data format based on CFX version 5.6).

ReadFluent
reads formatted Fluent(R) files V 0.99b (latest version verified: 6.0.12).

ReadStar
reads data sets written by Star-CD versions 2.21 thru 3.150B
It needs a ProSTAR input file (*16, *mdl) and a result file, either stationary (*09/*pst) or transient (*29/*pstt).

ReadTascflowTDI
reads data sets written by CFX-Tascflow versions 2.7-2.10. It needs the information contained in the grid (GRD), block-off and boundary condition (BCF) and results (RSO) files.
(SGI and HP only - no LINUX support)


In addition, this package contains - for a broader field of activities - reader modules for frequently used export formats:

ReadEnsight (replaces ReadEnsight)
reads data files written by Ensight (versions 5, 6, and Gold).

ReadPlot3D (SGI only)
reads data sets written by Plot3D.

ReadTecplot
reads Tecplot V 1.0b files.


On top of that, 3 more special modules are provided:

ReadCadmould
reads in Cadmould files (latest version verified: 1.308a).

ReadIv
reads Inventor files (Version 2.1).

ReadObj
reads a subset of Wavefront OBJ format.
