COVISE FEM: List of currently available Readers
(Finite Elements/Structural Mechanics)


COVISE FEM allows you straightforward and easy reading of output data in the formats used in the area of Finite Elements/Structural Mechanics. COVISE FEM is delivered with the following modules:

ReadABAQUS

ReadABAQUS reads the results from ABAQUS computations as .odb files (Version 6.3-5).

ReadANSYS

ReadANSYS supports elements from structural mechanics, from FLOTRAN, and from thermic computations. This means that this module can read .rst, .rfl, and .rth files. Based on format description of version 5.6.

ReadDyna3D

ReadDyna3d reads state-database (G=ptf) LS-DYNA-datasets.
The maximum number of timesteps is 1000.

ReadNastran

ReadNastran reads files in binary output2 Version 70 format from MSC Nastran.

ReadPAM

ReadPAM reads the results from PAM-CRASH computations as .DSY and THP files.

ReadPatran

ReadPatran reads data sets compatible with PATRAN 2.5 data format.
