COVISE Web

COVISE Web:

The COVISE Web Interface shows a web user in his browser the current renderer view from a running COVISE session.
This saves money by facilitating COVISE sessions across department or company boundaries.

In order to do that the following steps have to be executed:

  • Start the web interface

  • Enable the generation of VRML camera messages in the COVISE configuration file

  • Access the web interface using a a browser with a VRML plug-in installed (for example CosmoPlayer) and select VRML objects and a VRML Renderer

  • Use COVISE with the web interface (The objects you want to display in the browser have to be connected to the VRML renderer module; in the COVISE session only one pair of IVRenderer/VRML Renderer modules can be used)

  • Stop the web interfaceby executing command "tsc_client"
